The Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze, is in Maroua, the regional capital of the Far North Region, in prelude to the official launch of the State budget of 2024 financial year, in Maroua, to take place this coming Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He is accompanied by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency of the Republic in charge of Public Contracts, Ibrahim Talba Malla. They were received upon arrival as they alighted from the special flight by the Far North Gouvernor, Midjiyawa Bakari, and in animation by a handful of traditional dance groups in the region. The launching will take place simultaneously, in all the Headquarters of the financial jurisdictions on January 16, 2024, and will require the participation of all the stakeholders involved in the budgetary chain.
