The Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze arrived Garoua yesterday January 4, 2022

The Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze arrived Garoua yesterday January 4, 2022, ahead of the official launching of the State Budget for the fiscal year 2022. Upon arrival at the Garoua international airport, he was received by the Governor of the North region, Abate Edi”i Jean and a host of other dignitaries in the region. A large number of traditional dance groups were also present, chanting and displaying their dancing styles, indicative of their gratitude to receive the Minister and his entourage in the North region. The elated Governor, offered a dinner to the Minister and his entourage at his residence later in the evening. Void from speeches, the reception was graced by a choral group known as “The Heavenly Singers”, who thrilled their guests with a variety of both religious and circular songs. All these paved the way for a successful official launch of the State Budget which stands at FCFA 5,752.4 billion, this Wednesday, January 5, 2022, which it’s execution has been operational since January 1, 2022. An exercise which will be carried out equally in all the other regions of the country to be conducted by the Governors in collaboration with all the various stakeholders in the budgetary chain.
