MINFI received a delegation from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis.

A delegation from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis, led by Noah Zahrobsky, Head of Delegation and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Cameroon, H.E. Ignacio Raphael Garcia Lumbreras were received on May 10th, 2023, by the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze in his cabinet.

This meeting responds to the trilateral program between the Global Fund, Cameroon represented by the Ministry of Finance and the Kingdom of Spain. It allowed the different parties to draw a positive conclusion from the said program but also to explore new cooperation initiatives still in the field of health for the coming years.

It should be recalled that the said trilateral program has promoted a financial availability of 9.3 million euros, (i.e. 6,125,711,125.08 CFA) for the fight against AIDS in Cameroon and particularly for the purchase of antiretroviral products.
