Civism | the joint flag-raising ceremony as part of the civics minute was held at the Ministry of Finance this Monday, January 6th, 2025 in the early hours of the morning in the presence of the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance, Yaouba Abdoulaye, the Minister of Youth and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou and all the staff of MINFI.
At the end of the flag raising led by a detachment of Cameroonian customs, followed by the performance of the national anthem, the audience was treated to a presentation on the history, importance and understanding of the motto of our country “Peace-Work-Fatherland” by the leaders of MINJEC.
For us today, it is a reminder that we have civic obligations, especially we as the Ministry of Finance, who are responsible for developing the budgetary, fiscal and treasury policy of the State, among others, and which are actions that call for a lot of responsibilities on a civic level and in terms of responsibility as a citizen,
